Celebrating the 153rd anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad, The California State Railroad Museum, The California State Railroad Museum Foundation and Purple Silk Music Education Foundation are proud to host a performance by the Great Wall Youth Orchestra (GWYO), titled “All Aboard the Eastbound Train” at the California State Railroad Museum, located at Old Sacramento State Historic Park, 125 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
The GWYO will debut the music appreciated by Chinese railroad workers.

Attendees may tour the museum before or after the performance to view life size trains, history, and artifacts. (Excursion train rides are not included and requires a separate ticket purchase at the museum.)
PSMEF’s music programs have been severely impacted by the pandemic. Our May 7, 2022, performances will raise much needed funds to help sustain PSMEF’s music program. We also welcome your generous donations and support at the following levels:
