Join us for a multisensory event
Join us to hear live performances of music from the students of the Great Wall Youth Orchestra! The students will perform songs connecting the past with the present on traditional Chinese instruments, providing a multisensory historical experience as you explore the museum.
Museum admission includes access to this special event.
The performance will take place within the California State Railroad Museum's roundhouse where musicians and audience alike will be surrounded by locomotives, railcars, and railroad stories.
Schedule
11:30am - 12:30pm | Small spot performances at various locations throughout the Museum
1:30pm - 2:30pm | Main performance in Roundhouse
2:30pm - 3pm | Audience is invited to meet the students and see the instruments after the performance ends
