Hart's stereoscopic views of the Central Pacific Railroad, converted by computer from the original format into red/blue 3D. Two sets of cardboard 3D glasses are included with the book.
Published by the Nevada State Railroad Museum, "Waiting for the Cars" features 218 photographs of the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad presented as the photographer intended them to be seen - in three dimensions.
