Home School Activity Day 2019Come and build a train, drive a Railroad Spike, meet with a Train Traveler from the 1870s, design your own Railroad china, visit our Eagle Theatre and Passenger Station and much more!
First come, first serve! Home school groups must pre-register with the Group Desk at [email protected] or call (916) 323-9274.
Pre-registration will be accepted through Friday, October 14 at 5 p.m. All others wanting to attend may do so the day of the event depending on space availability. The museum admission is $10.00 adult and $5.00 youth 6-17 and under 5 is free.
ELIGIBILITY FOR HOME SCHOOL ACTIVITY DAY
- Each home school family may make a single reservation for up to 10 participants
- Each reservation must include at least one school-age student (ages 6-17)and no more than four adults
- Children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge and must be included in reservation numbers
- Pre-registration is required by contacting the Group Desk at [email protected] or by calling (916) 323-9274
Special note: Home school groups of 10 or more school-age children may make a reservation to visit together through our Field Trip school Program on a date other than our Home School Activity Day.
- Free self-guided field trip reservations are made through Reserve America at (866) 240-4655 for the 2016-2017 school year, beginning Saturday September, 17 at 8 a.m.
- Drop-In groups must make a reservation through the Group Desk at (916) 323-9274. Admission fees apply.
