The Sierra Railroad, now preserved as part of Railtown 1897 State Park, is the Central California short line used in more than 200 films and television shows spanning almost 100 years. Credits include many television shows from the 1950s to the 1990s, and major films like “High Noon,” “Back to the Future III,” and Clint Eastwood’s “Unforgiven” – the 1992 Academy Award winning Best Picture. The book has 140 photos; 25 of them in color.
